Our Machine Shop offers a wide range of machining capabilities, with two CNC Milling Machining Centres, two CNC Lathes, several manual machines and the capability of HSMworks programming software all under one roof.
Stainless Design's Machine Shop can offer a wide variety of material options for your custom machined parts including Aluminium, Acetal, Brass, Bronze, Carbon Steel, Copper, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Stainless Steel, Sheet Metal and many more.
We have a wide range of equipment and expertise to complement our fabrication skills and we specialise in difficult and complex jobs with short lead times. Many of the items manufactured are one-offs or small batches. The machine shop is embedded in our fabrication workshop and complements our ability to fabricate complex items where pre and post machining operations are required to achieve tight tolerances. We are proud that our client base includes a number of industry leaders who leverage our "One Stop Shop" Capabilities.
Stainless Design uses CAM Programming (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), more specifically HSM Works for programming our CNC Machine Tools. HSM works in conjunction with our Solidworks 3D modelling that we prefer to use and allows for quick program to machine lead time as we go from CAD design to CAM programming to CNC milling machine with one integrated workflow.
